THE STORY

Since childhood, I have always had a strong passion for color and creative transformation. Everything that was colorful passed through my hands and took new form. After graduating in Philosophy in Milan, I started working in the social sector, pursuing my creative projects in parallel through markets and fairs.
In 2010, my passion for sustainable fashion became my full-time job, culminating in the opening of my VAT number. I have always believed that philosophy was not only a love of knowledge, but also a passion for “thread” and craftsmanship.
In 2020, just a few days before the pandemic, I realized another dream: the opening of my first sustainable fashion store in Milan, where today I continue to design and make collections that combine creativity and sustainability.

THE DESIGN

Essential lines for women with multifaceted personalities

The simplicity of geometry is at the heart of Nicoletta Fasani’s collections. Simple shapes such as rectangles and squares, which, thanks to versatile sizes and seams, are transformed into different garments. Dresses that transform: tops that become skirts or dresses, sheath dresses that turn into sweaters or scarves. Each garment is designed to offer multiple solutions in one. Our designs, such as the Mono-Niki, can be worn 3 different ways; the Bi-Niki offers 2 possibilities, while the Tri-Niki offers as many options. Alongside these transforming dresses, we also present a line of traditional dresses that retain the rigor and simplicity of geometric shapes.

SUSTAINABILITY

Nicoletta Fasani creates sustainable fashion collections made in Italy, using certified organic materials such as GOTS and OEKOTEX. The silks come from factories in Como, heirs to Italy’s long textile tradition, while the end-of-piece fabrics, recovered from large-scale textile production, are regenerated to reduce waste and give new life to materials otherwise destined for waste. The design of the clothes is conceived to optimize fabric consumption during the cutting phase, minimizing waste. Since 2014, Nicoletta has introduced a knit capsule, produced in collaboration with a small family-run knitting mill in Basilicata, demonstrating a strong connection with local craftsmanship. Each garment is made entirely in Italy, following the highest standards of quality and sustainability. Our production stands out for its attention to made-in-Italy fashion certifications, guaranteeing authenticity, traceability and respect for the environment.

INNOVATION

“The Beautiful is the Consequence of the Just.”

A new clothing concept that allows you to have two, three or four outfits in one, simply by changing perspective. This is the heart of Nicoletta Fasani’s ethical and sustainable fashion, where aesthetics and ethics come together in a perfect balance between beauty and justice. Since 2010, her motto has been “Beauty is the consequence of right,” inspired by a Japanese proverb used in the art of origami, which emphasizes that beauty (the form) comes from a just process (the method). For Nicoletta, a dress is only beautiful when it is also good: made with materials that respect both people and the environment, following an ethic that values craftsmanship and the entire production chain. This approach to ethical and sustainable fashion guarantees garments that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also responsible to society and the planet.
